HISTORY
Ted Mashy started his company the “Ted H. Mashy Company” in 1972 and a year later merged with Gordon Smith of “Cal West Chemical” to form Cal West-Mashy Company in 1973. Gordon and Ted worked together for 6 or 7 years and until Gordon’s retirement. Ted continued to run the company but eventually retired and sold his ownership stakes to his son David in 1991. David Mashy ran the company hiring outside salesmen James Allen in 1999 and Kenn Johnston in 2002. Upon David’s retirement in February of 2019, James and Kenn purchased the company from David and continue to move the company forward.
