All Cogeim equipment is conceived for safe operation and high product quality.

Nevertheless, certain Nutsche filter - dryer operations may require limiting of the exposure of the operator and the environment to the product. Most frequent cases are loading of raw product and additives, heel discharge, heel push, pack - off of final product, removal of certain components for cleaning or maintenance. This concept may also apply to other operations. Some very high active products (commonly called HAPI - High Potency Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients) cannot be exposed neither to the operators nor to the environment during such phases.

In order to guarantee highest product quality and that the safety of the operators and of the work environment is kept to the highest standards, Cogeim provides containment systems.    

Successful experience has been gained on : 

• Rigid Isolators (up to 0,1 µg OEL 8h TWA containment level) 

• Flexible isolators 

• Bag-in-bag-out systems, single and continuous liners 

• Split valves
