Cal West Mashy Company for over 45 years has provided consultative sales and comprehensive solutions for demanding and difficult fluid processing applications as well as complex technical environments. Our work spans a broad spectrum of industries in Northern California, Nevada and the upper Northwest - including chemical, bio-pharmaceutical, food processing, water treatment, and general industrial.

Our company was founded by Ted Mashy who started his company the “Ted H. Mashy Company” in 1972. A year later he merged with Gordon Smith of “Cal West Chemical” to form Cal West-Mashy Company in 1973. Gordon and Ted worked together for 6 or 7 years and until Gordon’s retirement. Ted continued to run the company but eventually retired and sold his ownership stakes to his son David in 1991. David Mashy ran the company bringing on outside salesmen James Allen in 1999 and Kenn Johnston in 2002. Upon David’s retirement in February of 2019, James and Kenn purchased the company from David and continue to move the company forward today.

Cal West Mashy is a California “S” Corporation with a solid Dun and Bradstreet financial rating. All of Cal West Mashy’s assets, fixtures and inventory are owned with no financial encumbrances.

Territories Typically Covered

Generally CWM covers the territories of Northern California and Nevada. In some cases, we cover the upper Northwest territories as well (Oregon, Washington). Please contact us for more details.

CWM is a 100% owned by James Allen and Kenn Johnston and privately held.
