Features
The biconical dryer is a vessel with a characteristic shape of two cones connected to the base, which is provided with a heating jacket and mounted on pins resting on two support frames.
The gearmotor unit and the gear, that control machine rotation, as well as the rotary joint for vapor supply and condensate drainage of the fluid in the jacket are installed on one of the frames by means of the support pin.
The vacuum suction pipe and the relative seal system are installed on the other side of the frame.
A sensor for measuring the internal temperature of the boiler is generally housed inside the suction pipe.

LUMPBREAKER NR 1 INSTALLATION
It is supplied Nr. 1 multiblade lumbreaker, composed of a 3kW Eex-de motor, a speed reduction stage by means a gear box, a wet type mechanical seal and seal pot with internal cooling coil for barrier fluid. Wetted parts in Hastelloy C22

Electric conductive Glass SIGMA instead of G2208. SIGMA Glass can dissipate electrostatic charges which can be typically built in Dryers

A double PT100 temperature gauge and a 4-20mA Hart transmitter is supplied for internal vessel temperature detection.
PRESSURE TRANSMITTER
An internal pressure transmitter with Hart communication is supplied.
PERSONNEL SAFETY
For personnel safety has been foreseen a key interlock system. The operator can access to the unit ( rounding area, man way, sight glass )only keeping a key from a box. Each key can be released only if all movements are stopped and power intercepted. This system include an electrical power switch, that have to be wired between power lines and motors.
DOCKING SYSTEM FOR AUTOMATIC FILLING & DISCHARGE
For an automatic filling and discharge operation, we offer a system based on split valve concept.
For charge, a telescopic system (75mm stroke) connect the active part of split valve (alfa part) to the passive part(beta part) mounted onto the dryer, then, when the two parts are connected, the valve can be opened like a butterfly valve and can be performed the charge of dryer. This system has to be operated at ambient pressure and at max 80°C.

The docking system is in stainless steel 316L. For the discharge, a same active shell be used.
The two active parts will be supplied loose and installed by customer on his structure.
