Features
The TR1 sensor consists of a sensitive resistance thermometer encapsulated in a stainless steel probe housing. This housing is inserted into a stainless steel guide tube, equipped with threaded connection fitting and spring to ensure the probe is in contact with the internal wall of the head of the valve stem.
Dimensions and Design Data
Internal pressure min / max : -1 / + 6 bar (FV/87psig)
Internal Temperature min / max : -60 / 200 (-76°F to +392°F)
Min / Max ambient temperature : -25 / + 80°C (-13°F to +176°F) for instruments
The terminal head is made of cast aluminum (a stainless steel housing is also available), complete with terminals and suitable cable glands. The sensitive element is a Pt100 resistance thermometer (single, double, or triple) in Class A or B in accordance with EN 60751 and the measurement circuit may have 2, 3 or 4 wires.
The TR1 sensor is a passive component, with negligible capacities and inductance.
The TR1 thermometric sensor is a SIMPLE APPARATUS, in accordance with standard EN 50020 - 2003 (Electric apparatus for potentially explosive atmospheres - intrinsic safety protection "i"), paragraph 5.4.a. The TR1 thermometric sensor is a device that does not contain its own ignition source; it can therefore be used in environments with a danger of explosion and the presence of gas (Groups IIA, IIB and IIC).
